We are Crowdfunding - Please support TheVeganKind - We need your help!

Huge News 

Hello to all of our awesome friends and customers, 

We are Scott and Karris, and we started TheVeganKind from our living room table five years ago. We’ve been on an incredible journey since then, quickly moving operations out of our living room into a small unit, then into a bigger unit, growing our amazing team, and of course both leaving our own careers to dedicate ourselves to this business and movement that we are deeply passionate about and love so much. We’ve done it all without any investment, by being careful with our money, being careful with our decisions and only employing the absolute best, dedicated and committed team that we could find. We’ve been incredibly successful on our journey so far, but we’ve reached another turning point in our business which is both exciting yet scary! 

So that we can keep up with the phenomenal demand we are currently experiencing, we desperately need to relocate to a much bigger warehouse. We are simply bursting at the seams in our current space, and we just can’t cope with the demand as we are running out of room for packing all of the orders we receive every day as well as storing the large quantities of stock we need to fulfil these! 

We’ve known for some time that we were outgrowing the space we are in, however we’ve been in the very unfortunate situation over the last year that we’ve attempted to move into two separate larger warehouses that have both fallen through at the last minute, through no fault of our own, incurring considerable legal expenses, not to mention extreme stress all round! 

We have now found a warehouse that we hope will finally be our third time lucky charm, and in order to help us realise our dream of finally relocating to this new space, we have decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign to help us raise the capital that we need to make it happen. This will give us the freedom we need to move into our new warehouse and be able to grow and scale our inventory from 3,000 items to 20,000 vegan items, meaning more choice for YOU, our lovely customers, as well as house the incredible two floor mezzanine racking system that we’ve had ready and waiting for its new home for quite some time! We’ll also use a portion of the campaign proceeds to launch a billboard advertising campaign for TheVeganKind, helping us to get the vegan message out in front of millions of people. 

So, now for the all important details! Our crowdfunder page launches on November 1st, on World Vegan Day and our fifth birthday! 

What will you get?

There will be the option to just simply donate money to our campaign because you believe in us and what we could achieve with your contribution. Any contributions at all are, hand-on-heart, overwhelmingly appreciated.

However, this is a "Reward Based" crowdfunding campaign which will allow our friends and customers to contribute funds to TheVeganKind, in exchange for something back, such as:

Like anyone who launches a crowdfunding campaign, we have no idea what the outcome is going to be, but either way, we just want to take a minute to thank you for all of the support that we’ve had over the last five years, we’ve loved every single minute of it, through the ups and downs and highs and lows, and we are so excited to see what the future holds both for veganism and TheVeganKind!

The campaign is supported by JC Decaux, the world's biggest advertising company – as part of the campaign, they will MATCH our spend on our billboard advertising campaign, allowing us to get the vegan message out to even more people! Woohoo!
