World’s Top-Rated Vegan Egg Replacement Is Finally Coming To Europe

The perfect vegan egg product already exists. It is made with mung bean protein, and it’s called JUST Egg. It can be used for cooking, frying and baking. It makes a perfect vegan scramble, sponge cake, frittata, and you can use it to make the ultimate vegan Yorkshire puddings. The product is top-rated by consumers in the US, yet it is not available in Europe.

However, that’s just a matter of time. Just Egg, America’s fastest-growing vegan egg brand, is coming to Europe next year.

Eat Just, Inc., the company behind the eggs that creates healthier, more sustainable alternatives to eggs and meat, announced that the key ingredient in its popular plant-based egg has received approval from the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) expert panel on nutrition.

Following this historic decision, the company plans the initial launch of JUST Egg in Europe in mid-2022 after the European Commission concludes its review.
Eat Just’s mung bean protein is the first novel plant-based protein approved as safe under the policy required for all new food ingredients entering the European markets.

Eat Just is also collaborating with the UK’s Food Standards Agency on a regulatory path to market.
JUST Eggs has recently launched in South Africa, South Korea, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and China.
