Lewis Hamilton Revealed That His Beloved Dog Is Now Vegan

Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed that his dog Roscoe is now "fully vegan". 

He wrote to his fans: "Hey guys, so Roscoe is now fully vegan".

The plant-based diet is beneficial for Roscoe's body and health, making both the driver and the doggy very happy with the results. 

Hamilton said: "His coat is much softer, his swollen paws have healed up, he is no longer limping with pain of arthritis and his breathing has opened up."

"Super happy with the result and he is too," he added.

Roscoe is often seen with Lewis on the red carpet and the F1 events. The doggy even has his own social media channel. 

Hamilton has been a vegan diet advocate for many years. He says that adopting a vegan diet is the "only way to truly save our planet". 

Warning his fans about the environmental consequences of meat-eating, he said that "agriculture farming" was a huge pollutant, and the meat and dairy industry was responsible for "deforestation, animal cruelty" causing "our seas and climate decaying on a daily basis".

He used to say that adopting a vegan diet is very easy: "Going vegan "can be done so quickly...all you have to do is put your mind to it."

Hamilton regularly shares updates about his dogs with millions of fans. Recently, he told his fans how his other bulldog Coco died in his arms after having a heart attack at home, leaving him devastated.

He wrote on Instagram: "Last night at around 9 pm, my beautiful little girl Coco died at home with the family by her side. Her little heart gave in, we think it was a heart attack. I tried to revive her but it was no use."

Bulldog Roscoe is enjoying his healthy vegan food and in his free time he 'works' as a dog model. Lewis revealed that the pooch earns over $700 for a single shoot.
