Disney Parks And Cruises Will Serve Impossible’s Plant-Based Meat

Disney has announced a partnership with plant-based meat producer Impossible Foods and will be adding vegan burgers to its menus at Disneyland, Disney World and Disney Cruise Line.

"We're excited to add more items featuring the Impossible Burger to our menus," John State, culinary director at Disneyland Resort, told CNBC in a statement. 

"We're always looking for ways to bring more flavour, innovation and creativity to the Disney dining experience."

The deal with Disney is a big success for Impossible Foods and means the plant-based company will have to supply Disney parks with millions of burgers. 

Disneyland attracted 18.7 million people last year, while Disney World had 20.9 million visitors. According to MagicGuide, Disney World serves 10 million hamburgers a year.

This partnership is also a win for vegans, vegetarians, and people who are looking to eat less meat. 

The Disney parks and cruise lines have already been offering an excessive menu of vegan options. 

In September 2019, Disneyland and Disney World added hundreds of new plant-based dishes to the menus at the parks.
