A dark nettle ale with biscuity, bready notes. A perfect ale for wintery Weather.
Waiting for Nettles is a dark nettle ale inspired from Gruit ale methods and historic nettle beers. It comprises a small ratio of dark roasted malts along with a large grist of Marris Otter, and Munich and Crystal malt to create lovely biscuity, bready flavours. Wild Nettles and Juniper berries are added at the end of the boil, adding a beautiful complexity. A warming Winter beer for blustery weather.
