Rwandan beans from the Gishwati Cloud Forest. It's extremely well rounded, with lively citrus highlights, and a caramel sweetness which lingers on the palate and is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Gishwati Cloud Forest coffee is grown 60km from the unique ecological hotspot that is Virunga Park and is home to a quarter of the world's last mountain gorillas and other endangered zebra-looking Okapi. Gishwati use to host a big number different species of primates such as Chimpanzees and Golden monkeys. However, much of it was cleared for subsistence farming. Deforestation was so intensive that by 2001 only 6km of native Gishwati forest remained.
