Expertly seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, Amisa’s Organic Gluten-Free Falafel Mix is scrumptious and nutrient-rich. With chickpeas as the main ingredient, this Falafel Mix is high in protein and fibre, as well as being a source of choline, folate, magnesium, potassium, iron, vitamin A, E and C.

Amisa’s Organic Gluten-Free Falafel Mix is also super easy to make into falafels. Simply add the mix to 200ml of boiling water and leave for 15 minutes. Then shape the falafels by hand (to approximately 3 or 4cm diameter) and shallow fry them in hot vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.

For a lower-fat option, you can bake them in the oven on greaseproof paper at 200˚C until the falafels have crisped to a golden brown (roughly 20 minutes, turning them at least once).
