Medjoul Dates differ from other varieties of dates in a number of ways. Firstly, they are actually selectively bred for their ripeness and juiciness. This variety is also cultivated in a specific Geographical Region -Palestine.

Why Should I Get Organic Medjoul Dates?

These dates are no doubt some the juiciest dates you will eat, bursting in your mouth as you sink your teeth into them. They are soft, sticky and tremendously sweet…think sticky toffee pudding!

They are an exceedingly healthy treat, being rich in calcium, sulphur, iron, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper and magnesium which are all beneficial for health, not to mention the wealth of vitamins they possess too. Some health specialists have said that eating one date per day is necessary for a balanced and healthy diet, and its not hard to see why!

You can consume dates in tons of ways too, but dates in particular are especially good just as they are! Our favourite thing to do with them is to make a paste and mix it with milk, yogurt or bread and butter to make them even more delicious. They are also very popular in no bake, raw desserts and are ideal for such uses.

Medjoul dates are rather versatile and can be enjoyed as a snack in place of other sweet treats such as confectionery and can be used as a key ingredient in baking - think millionaire shortbread with Medjoul dates as the caramel-like middle.

Storage Instruction:

Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and damp.
