Ganoderma Lucidum, aka Reishi mushroom legendary potency is mainly manifested by two groups of bioactive compounds: polysaccharides and triterpenes. The type of polysaccharides, scientifically proven to have greatest effect are known as beta-D-glucans.
The Reishi mushrooms are sustainably harvested wood substrate (Duanwood) for the cultivation of the potent organic Ganoderma Lucidum (Reishi). Only fruiting bodies of Reishi (not mycelium) are used for KIKI Health’s dual extract (water and ethanol) powders.
Temperature-controlled technique is used to obtain the powerful bio-active elements contained within the mushroom cells. By using hot water to break down the mushroom fruiting bodies ’ cell walls, the precious beta-glucans and other useful compounds are more abundant and bio-available.
