OMGTEA AA Grade Matcha Green Tea is a high grade organic matcha tea with a 1-Star Great Taste Award. OMGTea AA is made with a combination of leaves from the first and second harvest and ground with a traditional granite stone mill, a process that takes more than an hour to grind 30 grams.
This award-winning, high quality matcha tea is perfect for people who enjoy their matcha as a latte or smoothie and can also be consumed as a tea.

Cultivation
OMGTea AA is made with a combination of leaves from the first and second harvest . Tea leaves from different plant and tea fields are combined in the same way grapes of different varieties are combined to create some wines. This is where the invaluable tea masters come in, their palate, knowledge and extensive experience are used to blend the leaves to create the different grades.
The most important aspects of matcha are colour, flavour and aroma, but not every tea leaf contains a balanced amount of these aspects. Blending therefore, is an integral part of enhancing the desirable characteristics and creating great tasting, high quality matcha.
During blending our tea master segments distinct aspects and levels of quality into several different grades. Whilst the AA is our entry level matcha at OMGTea, it is still high-grade and can be consumed as tea although we recommend it for lattes, smoothies and as an ingredient in other drinks and recipes.
