During working in her previous dog grooming business Barbara was shocked to see so many dogs suffering from commercial pet food-related illnesses such as obesity, diabetes, liver and kidney disease and skin allergies. She wanted to offer dog owners a super healthy treat they could give to their dog guilt-free that was low fat, nutritious and also delicious. Knowing that the dogs loved fresh fruit and vegetables, she got to work in her own kitchen. After lots of time spent developing the products, many trials and testing, the Soopa chew was born!

Soopa's range of 100% natural plant-based chews, dental sticks and training bites come in a delicious range of flavours and are made using natural, human-grade ingredients sourced locally and in Europe. We talked with Barbara (and Lily) about plant-based diet, dog's dental hygiene and sustainability.

We would also recommend checking the ingredients list to make sure the treats do not contain ingredients such as artificial colours, preservatives, excessive salt, and Propylene glycol.
