Why Shopping at The Vegan Kind Supermarket is Better Than a Non-Vegan Store

Shopping online with The Vegan Kind Supermarket is similar to shopping with a traditional store only much more, well, “kind” - animal kind, planet kind, human kind. Win, win, win! Plus, we offer competitive prices and shipping costs, money-off rewards, free gifts, next day delivery and much more.

Shopping online with The Vegan Kind Supermarket is similar to shopping with a traditional store only much more, well, “kind” - animal kind, planet kind, human kind. Win, win, win! Plus, we offer competitive prices, low shipping costs, money-off rewards, free gifts, next day delivery and much more. You can do your weekly grocery shop with us just like you do with the big chains such as Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

Veganism means abstaining from all animal or insect derived products. From meat and fish to cheese, milk, eggs and wool - if an animal was involved in any way, shape, or form whether it was being killed, locked in cages, pumped full of hormones to produce more milk, or having its goods stolen, vegans instead choose to seek out alternative means such as plant-derived milk, fake meats, and fur-free clothing.

Our planet is in big trouble and we must collectively act as soon as possible. As a company, we prioritise working with brands who source ingredients and materials locally to reduce our carbon output; we feature environmentally-friendly, reusable household and cooking utensils; and we plant a tree - at no extra cost to you - on each and every order made.

What’s more, eating a plant-based diet helps the global warming crisis as the reduction in water, land, and power needed is far less than used by factory farming. For example, eating 75 grams of beef per day for one year produces the same amount of greenhouse gas emissions as driving a car 7,196 miles. In stark contrast, eating 150 grams of beans a day works out at just 93 miles.

Animals love The Vegan Kind! Shopping with us means everything to our little and not-so-little furry friends since they are allowed to live free, feed their young, keep their fur and not be used or abused during animal testing. Love and support of animals is at the heart of everything we do and we have donated every month to animal-related charities since our inception in 2013.

We strive to buy products that are ethically produced. This means fair wages and treatment of workers, a low carbon output, an ethnically diverse and disabled-friendly workforce including our own, and working closely with fellow vegan brands who share a similar viewpoint.
