A single tweet put the spotlight on the groundbreakingly delicious plant-based sandwich. The person responsible: none other than Dan Levy, the actor who is also co-creator, showrunner, executive producer, and writer of Schitt's Creek, the outstanding comedy television sitcom that won the Golden Globe for Best Television Series last week.
The actor praised the vegan chicken sandwich as the best he’s ever had: "Hey Toronto! I had the great privilege of sampling every vegan sandwich on this menu and let me tell you, they are the best I’ve ever had. Thanks for the recco @ziyatong!" tweeted the actor, creating a buzz on social media.
The mouth-watering recipe uses delicious vegan chicken pieces from Barcelona-based brand Heura, making it healthier for you and your planet than the average chicken sarnie.
