Vegan Version Of Amarula Is Now Available In The UK

Amarula Vegan is a 'better for you' alternative and doesn't compromise on the taste the customer love.

Famous marula-based cream liqueur Amarula has launched a new vegan version of the product. Say Hello to Amarula Vegan!

The producer says Amarula Vegan is a 'better for you' alternative and doesn't compromise on the taste the customer love.

The new product is aimed at conscious consumers who are looking for healthier, more sustainable options and follow a plant-based or vegan diet.

The product is also free from artificial colourants, flavourings, nuts and gluten, so it's perfect for all those suffering from food intolerances.

This launch is the first-ever vegan cream liqueur that uses real marula spirit as its base.

Commenting on the new launch, Amarula Global Brand Lead Charmelle Conning said: "While we wanted to introduce this new plant-based variant, it was important that we did not compromise on the unique taste that people love. We wanted to embrace our African spirit while still evolving as a brand.

"Amarula Vegan does just this – it's a real indulgence that stays true to our exotic taste, that just happens to also be vegan."

"Taste and togetherness are core to the brand, and we wanted to make sure that everyone could experience the feel-good indulgence that our product offers, on any occasion, despite their dietary choices or restrictions," she added.

The Amarula brand has also revealed new packaging for the entire range.

The new bottle and label reflect the shape of the elephant's head. The clean and contemporary lines of the bottle aim to help the product stand out on the shelf.

Conning said: "We set out to create a fresh visual language for Amarula without losing any of its heritage. The shape of the bottle and the design of the label have evolved to keep pace with changing trends, but three key visual elements are still front and centre: the elephant, the marula fruit and the distinctive tassel around the neck of the bottle."
