Vegan shoe brand NAE has launched their new Fall/Winter collection inspired by nature and planet Earth.

The Lisbon - based vegan business was founded by Paula Perez in 2008 with a goal to create animal-free shoes with sustainability as the main component. The name NAE stands for No Animal Exploitation.

NAE's products are ecological, ethical and cruelty-free. The company works only with all-natural and environmentally friendly materials. The shoes and accessories are made with sustainable materials such as cork, organic cotton and pineapple leather. The synthetic materials used in the production of shoes such as microfibers  are made from recycled plastic bottles collected from the oceans.

NAE's shoes are designed to reassure daily comfort for the users.

All of the brands items are manufactured in certified factories in Portugal, to make sure the production process is as least impactful as possible, sweatshop and child labour free and where all workers rights are guaranteed.

The latest collection called Off.Home was inspired by planet Earth. The company wrote in the statement: 'We belong to nature. We're finally back Home'. As the brand explains, it 'represents humans' much-desired reunion with the open sky, the vegetation and planet Earth' after the lockdown.

The collection includes shoes, boots, and sneakers both for women and men. All items come in classic and natural colours such as brown, grey and black.

The brand says that the style and colours 'emphasise our reconciliation with nature as an extension of our own home'.

Vegan shoes and clothes become more popular among buyers after the lockdown. Many consumers prioritise the environment and animal welfare in ways that they have never had before. Shoppers are looking for sustainable options while keeping the balance between style and preserving the environment. NAE's shoes are tapping into that trend.
