Dutch fast-food chain Vegan Junk Food Bar is expanding!
The popular vegan chain has opened its first international location in the Spanish city of Barcelona. The interior of the new bar located in the El Born area of the city resembles the colourful design of the locations in the Netherlands.
On the menu the customers will find delicious vegan dishes and sandwiches such as the Daddy Mc Chik’n made with vegan chicken, bacon, veggies, and special “Daddy” sauce, as well as loaded “freak” fries served with a selection of colourful oppings. The menu also includes vegan sashimi, featuring Vegan ZeaStar fish alternative and some creative signature cocktails.
The Vegan Junk Food Bar launched in Amsterdam in 2017. The chain has grown to five locations. The business plans to develop between 10 and 100 new locations in the next years through franchising programme. Barcelona locations is the first one run by franchising partners. Another bar will open soon in Madrid.
