Hell, YES. Zizzi really know how to treat us vegans right. Not a single falafel or houmous dish in sight....not that we don't love a good falafel, but come ON, it gets old pretty quickly when restaurants and Supermarkets seem to think that's all we eat. Well, Zizzi to the rescue. They just announced their new autumn menu and boy oh boy have they got our back.
We sampled the original Zizzi vegan menu many months ago now, when they first introduced their dedicated vegan range, and we were really impressed. The quality was excellent, and the range was relatively extensive for a non vegan/veggie place. Now, we are practically crying into our dinner looking at these pictures and reading the descriptions of the new additions to the menu. Ready? Here goes:
1) Vegan Bruschetta
Baby plum tomatoes, red onion & roasted garlic marinated in extra virgin olive oil on toasted bread with super green pesto & fresh basil
2) Lentil Ragu
Rich Italian lentil ragu with linguine & fresh oregano.
3) Vegan Dessert Calzone
Warm sugared dough filled with banana, caramelised pecans & blueberries. Served with coconut & chocolate ripple gelato.
So, what are you waiting for? We'll fight you for a table! (we'll be the ones drooling over the menu and taking endless photos of all our food)
