Heura's Christmas sandwich pop-up store will bring Mediterranean sunshine to the streets of London soon!
Want to try some delicious plant-based turkey sandwiches?
Head to 58 Charing Cross Road in London for Heura's vegan Christmas Sandwich pop-up. From 9 till 14th December, Europe’s fastest growing plant-based meat brand will be giving away over 5,000 planet-conscious, plant-based Christmas sarnies for free.
The bright yellow pop-up will bring the Mediterranean sunshine to the streets of London, inviting everyone to tuck into the UK’s favourite festive treat with a vegan twist.
Rosemary & thyme Heura plant-based turkey is seared in extra virgin olive oil and layered with tangy cranberry-infused vegan mayo, herby Parmentier potatoes mixed with Heura vegan sausage, before being sprinkled with crispy onions, pickled red cabbage and topped off with a rich mushroom gravy.
The #HeuraChristmasSandwich is a festive feast bringing together the classic flavours of a Christmas dinner in a way that’s better for the planet. For each sandwich unwrapped hungry diners save 0.51kg of CO2 emissions, 506L of water, 1.32m2 of land and 0.45kg of cereals and soy, with 6 chickens and 1 pig saved for every 100 sandwiches given away.
Bernat Añaños, co-founder of Heura, said: “At Heura, we believe in celebrating family and food traditions, and what better way to protect the things we love most than updating them to be better for the planet, people and animals. So, for this holiday season, we created the Heura Christmas Sandwich pop-up to offer Londoners a more sustainable choice to enjoy one of the most beloved holiday dishes. London is the global stage and we’re going to make a huge sunshine yellow splash!”
Heura is one of the fastest-growing 100% plant-based meat companies in Europe. The brand is accelerating the protein transition by providing healthy, clean plant-based products for those who want to replace meat with an ethical and sustainable alternative to meat.
