Vegan Beauty Brand Launches Products In Biodegradeable Seaweed Capsules
Vegan cosmetics brand Bolt Beauty has introduced innovative sustainable skincare products.
The company has launched four new travel-friendly products - a cleanser, moisturiser, retinol serum, and blemish-fighting moisturising serum - all encased in biodegradable capsules.
The products are packaged in single doses seaweed capsules, which dissolve in water and can be put in a compost bin.
The postage packaging is made with FSC certified fully recyclable paper and tissue.
Bolt Beauty claims that with its products you can "say goodbye to carrying heavy full-sized products, the mess of decanting, and crappy plastic minis" and "your travel packing, and date night is about to get so much easier."
"I believe beauty should be zero compromise," Lisa Sexton, founder and creator of Bolt Beauty, said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.
"This means beautiful products made from safe and effective ingredients, that can easily be taken wherever you need them, without any hassle. You should be able to maintain a great skincare regime without your life revolving around your bathroom cabinet.
"We also can't compromise on the bigger picture: the things we buy shouldn't harm the planet and must be easy for the consumer to sustainably use and dispose of."
