The cake has been inspired by Tyson the Chihuahua, the family pet of Scott and Karris McCulloch who own the The Vegan Kind.

The couple were brainstorming ideas for a new animal themed cake with their team when Tyson walked into the meeting - sparking a lightbulb moment.

Scott McCulloch said: “When in the office trying to come up with ideas for our cake, our beloved dog Tyson strolled into the room and sparked a brainwave that there was no better inspiration for the cake than the pup himself.

Tyson works alongside his owners at The Vegan Kind where he enjoys the title of CBO (Chief Barketing Officer) but Scott fears his new found fame may go to his head. 

He said: “He’s always been a very down to earth character but when the fan mail starts pouring in he may well go barking mad.”
