This Plant-based Produce Company Goes Green For Organic September

To raise awareness of the environmental benefits of organic food and farming, plant-based company Mr Organic is launching a limited edition of one of its products.

This Organic September, to raise awareness of the environmental benefits of organic food and farming, plant-based produce company, Mr Organic is launching a limited edition ‘Super’ Chopped Tomatoes!

Boasting an eco-green coloured tin, 10p from every tin of their Super Chopped Tomatoes sold will directly fund Garden Organic’s environmental education schemes in the UK.

Garden Organic’s education programmes help teach children where their food comes from and the benefits of gardening and growing their own produce, all whilst encouraging them to eat more fruit and veg. Each limited-edition tin will provide information on pack about the environmental impact of organic farming to raise awareness of how sustainable farming is the future for food production.

Each year, Mr Organic produce over 6 million tins of organic chopped tomatoes from their very own sustainable and organic farm in Italy.

Coming from three generations of tomato producers, Mr Organic’s tomato range is the core of the brand. Produced and packaged in Italy with BPA-free packaging, all within a few hours of harvest to retain the tomatoes' freshness and flavour, each tomato is traceable to the field in which it was grown. They also boast zero air miles and no added sugar - a must-have store cupboard ingredient that respects people and the planet!

Mr Organic’s limited edition Super Chopped Tomatoes will be available for the same price as the standard Chopped Tomatoes, £1.30 meaning making a simple change to your weekly shop can have a big impact this September.

Alongside launching its limited edition Super Chopped Tomatoes, Mr Organic will also be marking Organic September with its own internal campaign involving a plastic free week at the office, park clean ups and a walk or cycle to work incentive, with the aim of inspiring its customers to put the planet first this Organic September and beyond.
