Vegans, vegetarians, vegan food lovers, flexitarians and all the foodies from London, you have to get over to Shoreditch this weekend.
From 1 pm on Sunday 12 January, at Boxpark Shoreditch THIS is giving away 5,000 plant-based ‘chicken’ nuggets for free. THIS is a UK brand producing plant-based meats including vegan bacon 'This isn't bacon' and chicken 'This isn't chicken'.
THIS meat-free products are made using soybean protein, water, and pea protein. The startup founders say it took them over a year to develop a product that perfectly mimics the real meat. The company wants more people to try its new, super realistic plant-based product and will be handing out their nuggets to everyone who appears at the event.
And to add to the excitement, THIS says a ‘mystery world-famous celebrity’ will be helping them serving up the nuggets.
Andy Shovel, the co-founder of THIS, said:
"There’s not much more to say than watch THIS space and get down to BOXPARK on 12th January. We’re going to be hosting the biggest plant-based nugget giveaway that London has ever seen, and probably Europe." "We’ve also got a pretty massive celebrity guest on board who will be there on the day to help feed everyone." The event will take place from 1 pm on Sunday 12 January at BOXPARK, The Square, 2-4 Bethnal Green Road, London, Shoreditch.
