THIS Donates Vegan Food To Those In Need
Plant-based meat producer THIS has donated over a tonne of vegan food to London charity City Harvest in a bid to help those most vulnerable during the coronavirus crisis.
The company has also pledged to donate even more vegan food this week and give products to Made In Hackney - a vegan cooking school that recently started delivering free food to the most vulnerable community members in Hackney.
In a statement sent to Plant Based News, Co-founder of THIS Andy Shovel said: "Right now, more than ever, we need to support the hospitality industry, so we're doing everything we can to support food charities and to keep people fed and remain positive."
THIS will 'distribute their food supplies to chefs who then cook it and provide meals to members of society who need it most'.
The company is also planning live cooking and fitness classes on its social media channels.
