This Debuts Its First Christmas Range With Vegan Pigs In Blankets

The UK's most popular plant-based meat brand This has unveiled its first Christmas range.

The festive range perfect for Christmas dinners and includes This Isn’t Pork Mini Sausages, This Isn’t Pork Sage & Apple Stuffing, and This Isn’t Pork Pigs in Blankets.

The company says the range is “aimed at tempting even more meat eaters to trial and adopt plant-based food over the festive season and beyond.”

This co-founder Andy Shovel said: "The festive period is traditionally one of the meatiest occasions out there, but it doesn’t need to be all mistletoe and swine.”

“The quicker and easier we can make it for people to reduce their meat intake the better, and this shouldn’t mean relying on a stodgy nut roast.”

This is one of the most successful British businesses in the meat alternative sector. In its last funding round the brand raised £11m what is claimed as the biggest series A fundraise for a plant-based meat brand. 

The company said it grew “almost 200%, six times the market rate” last year and is “playing an important role in drawing new consumers into the category”.
