Popular milkshake brand Shaken Udder is introducing a dairy-free sister brand, Shaken Other.
Shaken Other is made using ethically-sourced coconut milk and it doesn't contain any artificial flavours, colours, and preservatives. They are gluten free and have less than 200 calories (60kcals per 100ml). The milkshakes are available in two flavours, strawberry and chocolate. They are high in calcium, vitamin D.
The brand is planning to launch new flavours and more products in the future.
Andy Howie, co-founder of Shaken Other, said:
“The inspiration for the name came from the challenge that “Udder” is so strongly associated with milk that it didn’t fit. So Shaken Other was born.”
“We wanted to reassure our loyal consumers of our commitment to flavor whilst also being clear that this is a milk alternative. We believe that dairy-free drinks shouldn’t compromise on taste or choice. Our exciting range of dairy-free drinks deliver uncompromising taste for anyone who can’t drink dairy, chooses not to, or just fancies a change.”
The products are available in 330ml recyclable bottles,priced at £1.60.
With the new products range launch the company is targeting 25m flexitarians in the UK.
