Selina's New Hotel In Camden Has A Fully Vegan Restaurant

One of the fastest-growing hotel groups Selina is set to open a new hotel with a vegan restaurant in Camden, London. The brand new location will open this year after the UK lockdown ends.

The hotel is located near The Roundhouse music venue and aims to become an ideal place “for intimate events, after-parties and post-gig stays."

The 30-room sitel includes room in categories ranging from standard double rooms up to suites, a loft-style room, and four-people family rooms. The hotel is designed in a nomadic-style and offers 'a holistic work-life-well-being experiences' including services such as co-working spaces, wellness activities, and weekly laundry for frequent travellers.

Selina Camden will also be a home to an entirely vegan restaurant called Powerplant. The vegan eatery will serve 100% plant-based dishes and cocktails. The menu includes watermelon tartare with yuzu, avocado, charred corn, tapioca and miso ginger mayo.  

The hotel will offer spaces for socialising, working and dining with a fully-equipped communal kitchen, a movie room and rooftop terrace. Selina Camden will open for reservations on 15 Mar 2021. 

The site in Camden will mark the brand’s fifth property in the UK. The group has hotels located in Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton and Liverpool.

Selina is a Latin-American hospitality startup founded in 2015 in Panama and operating 70 properties around the world. In 2019 the company secured £80m funding to expand across Europe. 
The company offers frequent and constant travellers a subscription program, allowing them to use accommodation in Selina hotels for a set monthly and yearly fee, starting at $500 per month.
