Rihanna has launched a range of vegan skincare products this week. The line called Fenty Skin features three products in unique, sustainable packaging.

The Total Cleans' r Remove-It-All Cleanser is a 2in1 gelly-cream formula cleanser and makeup remover. The Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum combines toner and serum to refine the skin tone and brighten the skin.

"Fat Water does it all—it makes pores and dark spots less visible, brightens, smooths, fights shine—all without stripping skin," the pop-star said in the press release. "It's everything for everyone. I'm obsessed with it."

The Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen is innovative lightweight moisturizing sun protection that brightens the skin. It does not contain UV filters that have been banned for their impact on ocean coral bleaching.

"I wanted to create a moisturizer with SPF that was totally invisible—that means no chalky residue and no flashback," the singer said in the release. "We created this pink hue that works on all skin tones allowing it to blend in effortlessly and leave a healthy glow on skin."

The cosmetics are 100 per cent vegan, oil-free and gluten-free. They contain natural ingredients such as Barbados cherry and Kalahari melon and skin 'specialists' such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C and antioxidants.

The products have an intense fruity scent, and the ingredients list includes fragrances so those with very sensitive skin should use them with caution.

The packaging is eco-conscious, excluding boxes whenever possible and using recycled (PCR) bottles suitable for further recycling.

Commenting on the launch, Rihanna said in the statement: "Fenty Skin is everything I wish I had back then."

"I wanted it to feel approachable, easy, and to take the pressure off choosing a routine, so I created one for everyone."
