Vegan pizza chain Purezza in opening its first restaurant in Manchester next month.
The new site will open in Dough Pizza Kitchen at 75-77 High Street in the Northern Quarter.
Purezza which was founded in Brighton in 2015 operates locations in Bristol, London, and Hove. The company is known for developing their own super realistic plant-based mozzarella to use on pizzas in their restaurants.
Last year, the company received 2.4m investment a from London's MVK group.
Commenting on the expansion, Tim Barclay, co-founder and co-owner of Purezza said: "Manchester has been on our agenda for years now. We've had more requests to open in Manchester than any other city in the UK, and it's truly a pleasure to honour those requests and to finally make it happen. We're really excited about this, and we can't wait to welcome you through our doors."
The chain has plans to introduce its cheese and pizzas to retail by the end of the year.
