Halloween has been and gone and that can only mean one thing…CHRISTMAS. Okay, okay we know it is still November, but believe us, you will want to stick around for this news.
Today Pret’s much-anticipated Christmas Menu returns and will feature Pret’s first ever vegan Christmas sandwich! What is a vegan Christmas sandwich we hear you ask?! Pret’s chefs have created a special vegan stuffing that is combined with grilled carrots, crispy onion, caramelised pecans, spinach and a Port & orange cranberry sauce. Sounds deliciously Christmas-y! For each sandwich sold, Pret will also donate 50p to The Pret Foundation Trust, which aims to alleviate homelessness. The donations will help support running its fleet of Charity Run vans which redistribute unsold food to the homeless throughout the night, every night. Contribute to the alleviation of suffering by eating a delicious sandwich?! Sign us up.
Of course, with Christmas sandwiches, come Christmas hot beverages. As of today, you can also grab yourself a Festive Flat White, Mint Mocha or Mint Hot Chocolate! All are vegan with soy milk or rice-coconut milk.
