Plant Based Treaty Releases Free Guide to Glasgow’s Vegan & Vegetarian Restaurants Ahead Of COP26

Thousands of copies of the Plant Based Treaty’s Guide to Glasgow will be handed out to visitors at COP26.

With animal agriculture one of the leading contributors to climate change and environmental devastation, the Plant Based Treaty is making sure COP26 delegates and visitors have easy access to vegan food in Glasgow, with its free Guide to Glasgow.

The Guide features more than 20 vegan restaurants and cafes in Glasgow, along with vegetarian eateries and shops with vegan options. The guide contains a map showing where to find them.

Activists will hand out 15,000 copies of the Guide throughout COP26.

The Guide will also be available at many of the venues listed and can be downloaded from the Plant Based Treaty’s website.

Some of the cafes and restaurants, including Suissi Vegan Kitchen and The Glasvegan, are offering COP26 delegates a discount.

“Animal agriculture is a major contributor to climate change, global warming and environmental devastation,” says Alex Bourke, campaigner for Plant Based Treaty and creator of the renowned vegan guides to cities in the UK and Europe for the past 27 years.

“It’s a serious problem. The solution is plant-based food. We want to show COP26 delegates and visitors how easy it is to eat plant-based food. Our free guide shows you where to go and enjoy it,” he continues.
