Pizza Hut Has Launched Vegan Wings In Australia

Fast-food chain Pizza Hut has recently added vegan wings to its menu in restaurants across Australia. 

The entirely plant based chicken wings are made with wheat and shaped similar to nuggets. The new dish can be ordered with five vegan dips: Buffalo, Chipotle, Smoky BBQ, Hickory & Brown Sugar, and Hot Chili.

Pizza Hut Australia said it developed the new meat-free offering to please vegan, vegetarians and those who follow plant-based diet. The chain said: “We developed our new wing choices so that there are more menu options for different palettes, because there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to dinner time. And nor should there be. 

“Perfect for those who like to dabble in the plant-based life, those who love our vegan and vegetarian ranges already, or who just follow a full vegan diet. Tempt yourself and try something new, we absolutely love them.” 

Last year, Pizza Hut Australia rolled out vegan garlic bread and pizzas topped with plant-based cheese. The options included: Vegan Mediterranean, Vegan Deluxe, Vegan Cheese Lovers, and Vegan Margherita. The dessert menu included vegan ice cream cone.
