One Planet Pizza Teams Up With VFC For Vegan Fried Chick*n Pizza

Plant-based pizza company One Planet Pizza, is making sure the world knows that it gives no clucks about poultry meat this National Fried Chicken Day. 

To mark the event on 6thJuly, One Planet Pizza is leaving chickens off the menu by launching a brand new collaboration with plant-based chick*n brand VFC. One Planet Pizza is hoping to show that chickens don’t need to be involved to make a tasty meal. 

No Clucks Pizza is topped with Vegan Fried Chick*n popcorn pieces. Each of the crispy Vegan Fried Chick*n pieces are packed with Southern Fried flavour and a satisfying corn flake coating. The VFC golden popcorn pieces are scattered on a handmade base, hand-topped with One Planet Pizza’s family recipe tomato sauce, red peppers, red onion, sweetcorn, melty Cheezly and a drizzle of smoky BBQ sauce. It’s enough to get even the most ardent chicken fan’s mouth-watering.

The brand estimates that one chicken’s life will be saved for every 20 No Clucks Pizzas purchased instead of a regular chicken topped pizza.

In a recent survey of lockdown takeaway preferences, pizza was found to be the nation’s favourite option, with fried chicken also scoring a place in the top five takeaway choices. By combining these two classic dishes, those who love deep fried flavour just as much as pizza no longer have to choose between the two this National Fried Chicken Day.
