One Planet Pizza And Heura Teamed Up To Create Epic Pizza Feat. Vegan Chicken

This summer pizza is set to sizzle, in a first collaboration between Heura Foods, plant-based meat brand, and One Planet Pizza, the UK’s first frozen plant-based pizza brand to have carbon labelling on its boxes.  

One Planet Pizza and Heura present ‘The Successor’ – a new frozen plant-based pizza topped with Heura's vegan chicken Mediterranean Chunks, sweetcorn and barbeque sauce for the ultimate flavour combination. The thin and crispy pizza is a perfect option to replace takeaway!

Heura's plant-based Mediterranean Chunks are marinated in spices to give a Mediterranean aromatic taste to every slice. High in protein, iron, and vitamin B12, gluten free and preservative-free made with olive oil, pizza lovers won’t believe they are 100% plant-based.

Joe Hill, co-founder of One Planet Pizza, says: “The Successor is one of our most exciting partnerships with Heura, our #partnersinmission. This banging new limited edition handcrafted thin and crispy pizza loaded with our family recipe tomato sauce is topped with Heura Mediterranean chunks - made using extra virgin olive oil, red onion, sweetcorn, melty vegan cheeze and a thick drizzle of smoky barbeque sauce.”

Heura, founded in Barcelona in 2017 by Marc Coloma and Bernat Añaños, launched in the UK with a meat-free burger in 2020. Heura's vegan chicken and burgers now available in more than 22 countries.

The collaboration comes as both brands announce successful crowdfunding, One Planet Pizza utilised the funding to support a successful launch of its core range into ASDA in April, and Heura will use funding from the latest round to create ‘Heura Lab 2.0’, to work on low footprint technologies and develop and distribute plant-based foods worldwide.

The Successor, One Planet Pizza, priced at £3.99, is available online exclusively via from the company's website from May 27th.
