Swedish plant-based milk manufacturer Oatly has added two new flavours of its oat milk-based ice creams to its UK range.
The new addition includes strawberry and vanilla flavours, both of which are free from synthetic ingredients.
Oatly Strawberry flavour is full of real strawberries so "you'll feel like you're in a field eating juicy red strawberries" with 15% of each tub containing "lovely berries mashed and mixed so perfectly."
The ice cream comes in recyclable packaging made of PEFC certified paperboard from sustainable forests.
Oalty's existing ice-cream range includes Chocolate Fudge, Hazelnut Swirl and Salted Caramel flavours.
The new items will cost £4.50 and will roll out in stores by the end of the month.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Ishen Paran, general manager at Oatly UK, said:
"These two new additions to our expanding range of ice cream will be sure to excite Oatly fans up and down the UK – we can't wait to see how they react.
"We're grateful to both Tesco and Ocado for providing us with wider nationwide availability. We're committed to providing the easiest ways for people to make the switch from dairy to oat, whilst protecting the planet in the process. What better way to do this than a delicious tub of oat-based ice cream?"
