Now You Can Have A Real Steak Made From Plants Without Environmental Impact

The UK's fastest growing plant-based meat company Meatless Farm has launched a new plant-based steak.

One of the UK’s fastest-growing meat-alternative brands, Meatless Farm, is launching an innovative plant-abased meat product.

The Plant Based Steaks are made using the latest food technology, high-quality plant-based ingredients, and pea protein to emulate the texture and taste of beef.

Better For The Planet

In addition to being both soya and gluten free, the Meatless Farm Steak contains over 15g of protein per fillet and boasts a significantly lower carbon footprint than its meat-based counterpart.

The product is aimed at both families and millennials that want a replacement for their red meat protein without the environmental impact.

Right In Time For BBQ Season

Launched in time for the start of BBQ season, the Plant-Based Steak is sold as two fillets and is the perfect solution for all those who want reduce their meat consumption, veggies and vegans to enjoy their favourite steak recipes.

The new product is juicy and versatile and can be pan fried, oven cooked in 13 minutes or grilled on the BBQ. The steak is simple to add into a variety of recipes or served as the main event, perfect for that special weekend meal or a sizzling steak sandwich.

Challenging The Meat Industry

Priced at £3.50 for two fillets, the plant-based steak will be available nationwide. The launch follows the success of the brand’s Chicken breast NPD, which achieved listings with the ‘big four’ supermarkets in the space of three months following its January launch.

Michael Hunter, Managing Director of Meatless Farm UK and Ireland said: “Our new plant-based Steak is our latest step in creating exciting and innovative new products and further diversifying the plant-based market.

“Responding to consumer demand, we’ve brought another credible contender to the market to challenge the red meat sector. Many people enjoy a steak meal, yet red meat has the highest environmental impact, so we’ve created a plant-based version to help consumers enjoy a steak experience in the week that delivers on taste and texture yet is better for the planet.”

Meatless Farm delicious plant based alternatives offer great taste and texture and no nasty ingredients. They are high in protein, great source of fibre, gluten-free, and 100% vegan.
