Vegan and free-from chocolate brand NOMO has released kids-friendly monster inspired choc lollies, perfect for little tummies. 

They are the new kid on the block; a three pack of vegan creamy choc ‘monster’ lollies.  Each lolly features either Mo, Jo or Flo on the wrapping, allowing children to find their favourite character.Mo, Jo and Flo are on a mission to ensure that as many kids as possible can enjoy the delicious taste of vegan chocolate!

Leo, aged 7, NOMO fan, said: "I think Jo is the cheekiest one as he is a cool superhero. Superheroes can fly so they can make mischief! But my favourite is Flo. He looks like he will be cuddly and cute. I love that you get all 3 lollies in one pack, I would eat Flo first, he really does look funny. NOMO chocolate just melts in my mouth, can I have some more?!"

The three pack of lollies is made using NOMO’s signature creamy choc flavour, the original NOMO go-to flavour. Vegan and totally free from dairy, yet unbelievably creamy, the choc lollies are the perfect on-the-go treat or to keep stocked in the cupboard at home.

NOMO has created a dairy-free chocolate that is perfect for kids with allergies to dairy, gluten, egg or nuts. Following their belief that no-one, no matter their allergy, intolerance or dietary requirements should miss out on great tasting, quality chocolate.

It is estimated that the prevalence of food allergies is 7.1% in breastfed infants, with 1 in 40 developing peanut allergies and 1 in 20 developing an egg allergy. The most common allergies that affect children are dairy, peanuts, nuts and eggs. 

Commenting on the launch, Jacqueline Tyrrell, Brand Manager of NOMO said: "NOMO has established itself as the UK’s number one adult vegan and free from chocolate brand and we are so excited to be able to cater for younger customers with our NOMO kids’ products. Roughly 5% of children in the UK suffer from a food allergy or intolerance and this often impacts the whole household. For caregivers, this means it can be difficult to find treats that are suitable for the whole family without someone feeling left out. NOMO is as delicious as mainstream chocolate and has the added benefit of being free from dairy, gluten, egg and nuts, which makes our 3 pack of lollies a wonderfully inclusive choice for families."

Since launching in 2019, NOMO has become a vegan staple of the confectionery industry with the greatest market share (24.4%). The brand is equally popular among vegan and non-vegan customers.
