In a world-first, ‘secretly vegan’ pizza brand NXT LVL PZA will accept FIFA coins as a form of payment.
NXT LVL PZA’s Soho pizza pop up accepts FIFA coins as a valid form of currency, making them even more accessible to budget-minded pizza lovers.
The brand, which is on a mission to make animal-free fast food the norm, opened the only all-vegan pizzeria in Soho this month as an inclusive place for vegans and meat-eaters alike to enjoy meaty vegan pizzas with no compromise on taste.
Although the appetite for vegan fast food is rapidly growing, research shows that most of the consumers are still sceptical. With millions of FIFA players in the UK alone, NXT LVL PZA targets a wider market and bring vegan pizza to the mainstream. NXT LVL PZA has uploaded Italian players to the FIFA Transfer Market, enabling avid FIFA gamers to purchase individual players online with FIFA coins and use the receipt in the Soho store. Showing proof of purchase for a Bronze Italian player at exactly 9,500 FIFA coins will unlock a free pizza.

NXT LVL PZA partnered with popular dairy and meat alternative brands such as THIS, Beyond Meat, Meatless Farm, Violife and Heura, as well as new insider brands from around the globe, NXT LVL PZA is a place where customers can eat everything on the menu and enjoy it, regardless of their diet.
The menu at the Soho pizzeria includes seasoned favourites like the burger-inspired ‘Pac-Mac’ pizza, topped with juicy Beyond Meat bites, gherkins and burger sauce, as well as new creations like ‘The Golden Nug’, which is topped with THIS vegan chicken nuggets and creamy vegan cheese by Pleese - a challenger brand from New York.
Founder of NXT LVL PZA, Fabio Matticoli, commented: “We’re excited to bring our pizzas to the social heart of London with an innovative and fun payment scheme. In true NXT LVL PZA fashion, we’ve gamified the customer experience to encourage FIFA fans to try the next level of pizza in a more memorable way and we hope this will bring us one step closer to making vegan the norm, rather than just a menu option.”
The pop up is located at 68 Old Compton Street, London. You can get a 7‘’ pizza for just £4, or get three pizzas for £10 and five pizzas for £15. The exclusive deal of using FIFA coins to pay for the pizzas will only be available in the Soho pop up until the end of February.
