Vegan sausage roll fans, rejoice! Meatless Farm is launching the UK’s first plant-based sausage roll vending machine on National Sausage Roll Day, Saturday 5th June 2021, on London’s Southbank.
Following demand from the plant-based meat brand’s recent cheeky April Fool’s joke announcing the launch of M*** F*** sausage roll vending machines nationwide, where fans called to make this a reality, Meatless Farm is now making flaky puff pastry dreams come true with its giant sausage roll vending machine for one day only.
Operating from 11.30am – 7pm and standing at almost 7 foot tall, the Meatless Farm vending machine will be unmissable with visitors able to get the meatiest meat-free sausage roll at the touch of a button. As pioneers of plant-based meat that looks, cooks and tastes just like the real thing, Meatless Farm’s newly launched sausage roll is no exception, and visitors to the vending machine can enjoy their complimentary sausage roll hot or cold, due to a nifty oven technology installed on the machine. Sausage rolls are the king of convenience food, perfect for those on the go or taking a waterside stroll that weekend in, hopefully, sunshine.
Morten Toft-Bech, Founder of Meatless Farm, said: “This is not a drill. We are turning our April Fools joke of a M*** F*** sausage roll vending machine into a reality so everyone from puff pastry fans to on-the-go snackers can enjoy a plant-based yet remarkably meaty experience. Let’s roll!”
The Meatless Farm sausage roll vending machine can be found at Observation Point, Riverside Walkway (by Gabriel’s Wharf), South Bank, London, SE1 9PP from 11.30am to 7pm on National Sausage Roll Day, Saturday 5th June 2021 only dispensing free sausage rolls for all.
