Food giant Mars has announced the launch of new vegan chocolate bars, right in time for Veganuary.
The company is expanding its range of vegan chocolate bars with two brand new chocolate bars Bounty and Topic. Both bars are registered with The Vegan Society trademark.
Bounty Vegan features diced coconut blended with creamy almond paste. Topic Vegan is made with hazelnut paste, rich cocoa and whole hazelnuts for a delicious nutty flavour. Both new chocolate bars will be priced at £3 for a 100g bar.
Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats GM Michelle Frost told The Grocer that the new launch follows the ‘incredibly popular’ debut of Galaxy Vegan.
“We believe that Topic Vegan and Bounty Vegan will add something excitingly different to the free-from category,” he said.
The company launched a vegan version of Galaxy chocolate bar back in 2019.
Currently, the Galaxy bars are available in three different flavours at TheVeganKind Supermarket.
Mars has also recently added a vegan version of its Galaxy hot chocolate drink, perfect for warming up on cold winter days.
