LEGO Pays Tribute to Jane Goodall on International Women's Day
In 2022, the brand is honouring famous British conservationist, animal rights and environmental advocate Dr Jane Goodall. The special Lego set features a mini figure of Goodall along with three figures chimpanzees all set in a jungle scenery with trees, flowers, and even a river.
The eighth of March marked the International Women's Day.
Every year, some of the world's biggest companies and charities get involved by launching dedicated campaigns or donating money to women's causes. Lego is one of them. The Danish toy company always celebrates Women's Day in a unique way - by creating a special tribute set in honour of women public figures.
In 2021, Lego marked the Women’s Day with a tribute set to Amelia Earhart. This year, the brand is honouring the famous British conservationist, anthropologist, animal rights and environmental advocate Dr Jane Goodall who is known for her work in Tanzania’s Gombe Stream National Park.
The special Lego set features a mini figure of Goodall along with three figures chimpanzees all set in a jungle scenery with trees, flowers, and even a river.
All elements included in the set are made from sustainably sourced plant-based plastic.
Young builders can pay tribute to Dr Goodall's legacy as an advocate for species preservation and environmentalism.
The best thing about the set is that you can receive for free as a gift from Lego when you purchase for at least £120 in their online shop.
The set is available until 18th March, while stocks last.
