Joaquin Phoenix And Rooney Mara Are Having A Baby!
Vegan power couple Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are reportedly expecting their first baby together.
A source close to the couple broke the news to Page Six.
The actors met on the set of Spike Jonze'sHer, but they didn't start dating until after they filmed Mary Magdalene. They got engaged in 2019 after three years of dating.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Joaquin said that he liked Rooney before the couple got together in 2017 but he thought she didn't like him.
"She’s the only girl I ever looked up on the internet," he said. "We were just friends, email friends. I’d never done that. Never looked up a girl online."
According to reports, Rooney Mara may be as far along as six months pregnant. The news comes after Rooney was spotted wearing oversized clothes with what appears to be a baby bump.
The couple didn't confirm the news publicly yet.
Both actors are proudly vegan and animal-rights activists. Phoenix preached veganism in his Academy Award acceptance speech when receiving the Oscar for his performance in The Joker.
