Italian vegan burger chain Flower Burger is bringing the brand to the UK, and it plans to open more than 40 restaurants across the UK.
Founded in 2015, Flower Burger operates 14 franchise locations around Europe, including in Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
The company announced a partnership with franchise consultant Seeds Consulting and plans to open up to 45 Flower Burger restaurants in big cities across the UK over the next ten years.
Flower Burger will work with multi-brand operator Gerry’s Group to develop the business.
The chain offers a range of vegan burgers made with in-house prepared vegetable patties and served in colourful buns. The company reassures that it uses only natural ingredients.
The menu includes the ‘Cherry Bomb’ burger, featuring a lentil and basmati rice patty served in a pink bun, and ‘Flower Burger’ with seitan and red kidney bean patty in a black bun.
Flower Burger’s founder and managing director, Matteo Toto, told Big Hospitality: “People do not normally associate vegan food with fun and enjoyment.
“Flower Burger is about changing this perception, with a psychedelic brand and restaurant décor and a natural, great tasting product that we produce ourselves and that is unique to us”.
