How to cook frozen plant-based sausages?

Plant-based sausages from THIS (THIS Isn't Pork Sausages) are high in protein and fibre. They contain 80% less sat fat when compared to standard pork sausage which makes them a great alternative for traditional sausages. Although they perfectly resemble meat sausage in texture, they cook a bit differently. Unfortunately, these products are not suitable for microwave cooking. To achieve the best results always cook them directly from frozen (do not defrost them!) and always remove all the entire packaging. Also, remember that all appliances are different and these are general guidelines only.

Grilling plant-based sausages

Cook plant-based sausages from frozen when on the grill. Just preheat the grill on high. Drizzle sausages in oil and place at the top of the grill for 6-8 minutes. Turn regularly to cook on all the sides. Check if the products are hot inside before serving.

Oven cooking plant-based sausages

In case of cooking in the oven, also remember to always cook your vegan sausages from frozen. Preheat oven 200°C. Place sausages on a tray and set in the top of the oven for 25-27 minutes. Turn half through cooking so the sausages are entirely cooked. Check if the sausages are hot before serving.
