UK's popular vegan snack brand HIPPEAS and plant-based meat pioneers from THIS have teamed up to develop and launch a limited-edition smoky bacon flavour chickpea puffs.
The entirely plant-based snacks are inspired by the flavour of THIS’ plant-based bacon and lardons (you can also buy them at TVK). Both THIS Isn't Bacon and THIS Bacon Lardons won Great Taste awards.
HIPPEAS chickpea snacks are free of gluten, palm oil, and MSG. They are also a good source of protein and fibre. Also, they are compliant with the HFSS (high in fat, sugar, and salt) regulations that will come into force in the UK soon (in October) for the snacks considered to be less healthy.
“We are delighted to be launching this limited-time-only partnership with the team at THIS,” commented the CEO of HIPPEAS Paul Nardone.
“As two of the UK’s leading plant-based food brands, it made perfect sense for us to collaborate on our ‘THIS Isn’t Smoky Bacon’ flavour,” he added.
The new limited-edition product is the sixth flavour in HIPPEAS’ award-winning range. The entire range features Salt & Vinegar Vibes, Sweet & Smokin’, Take it Cheesy, In Herbs We Trust, and Sriracha Chilli and is now available to buy online at The Vegan Kind with a 20% discount!
