Greggs Vegan Steak Bakes Sold Out In Glasgow

Greggs customers around the UK go crazy about the chain's new vegan steak bake, but the meat-free snack has proved to be the biggest hit in Scotland!

The product was sold out in at least one location in the city centre of Glasgow. A picture from one Greggs store located on Gordon Street showed a sign telling customers that the vegan bake had already sold out.

Greggs launched the tasty snack nationwide yesterday. The steak bake is being sold at over 1,300 stores across the UK.  Customers in Newcastle were queuing for hours in a bid to be the first to try the new pastry at the official midnight launch. Since the launch, Greggs fans and vegan foodies from across the country have been sharing the pictures of the new snack and praising it on social media.

One wrote: "Great for a quick lunch. Better for me; the planet; and animals. Thank you!"

Another commented: "Love it and so happy there’s a yummy vegan alternative for non-meat-eaters".
