Greggs Is Adding New Vegan Options To Its Autumn Menu

UK's favourite bakery chain Greggs has announced a few exciting updates to its menu for autumn. 

Vegan fans of Greggs will be happy to know that the new menu features some tasty vegan-friendly hot bakes! 

One of the items launching today is a hot sandwich Vegan Southern Fried Chicken Baguette. Priced at £3.40, the sandwich is made with a freshly baked crunchy baguette, packed with vegan chicken goujons and topped with mature vegan cheddar slices, sliced red onion and chipotle chilli sauce. 

Another meat-free option on the menu is Vegan Bean and CheeZe Toastie. The sandwich is made with grated vegan cheese and classic baked beans. This item will also start selling today, priced at £3.05.

Starting o September 15, fans of the Southern Fried Chicken Goujons will be able to try the vegan chicken alternative. The tasty plant-based chicken is crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are made with meat-free filling and coated in lightly spiced southern fried breadcrumbs, served with one of Greggs' sweet chilli dips for a tasty treat. Priced at £3, the goujons promise to be a top-tier treat.

Vegan options can be made into a meal with potato wedges and drink for £4.70.

Along with all the autumn vegan items, Greggs will still be serving their freshly made savoury and sweet bakes.
