Ginsters And Quorn To Launch A Vegan Sausage Roll

Ginsters, the biggest pasty maker in the UK and Quorn, the leading meat-free brand, have teamed up to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The companies claim the choice for vegan sausage rolls is very limited in the UK. 

Ginsters Vegan Quorn Sausage Roll features a “bespoke meat-free, high-fibre sausage, peppered with herbs and spices, in a light puff pastry.”

The pastry will be priced at £1.25⁠ and will go on sale across the UK on the 15th of April. 

Ginsters believes that the new vegan item will “attract vegan and flexitarian consumers to the savoury pastry and chilled meat-free categories”. 

The two companies have already collaborated in 2019 to create a vegan pastry filled with Quorn meat-free meat and vegetables. This time, they joined forces to rival Greggs.
