Plant-based food delivery service allplants teamed up with plant-based meat company Meatless Farm to bring you the ultimate fakeaway version of Britain’s popular Chicken Katsu Curry.

Like all their dishes, allplants new ‘Chicken’ Katsu creation is 100% plant-based, flash-frozen, and delivered to your door – and insanely delicious and ready-to-eat within minutes.

The plant-based ‘Chicken’ Katsu Curry taps into the ‘fakeaway’ trend, with people dining at home moving towards healthier alternatives to fast-food takeaways. There has also been huge shifts in consumer attitudes and an openness to eating more plant-based food and swapping it into our favourite meals (66% of allplants customers say they eat meat alternatives). 

The new 'fakeaway' tasty dish is s filling, satisfying, sweet and saucy, but without some of the nasties often found on a takeaway menu. At 406 calories per serving, it’s low in sugar and saturated fat, contains 28g of protein, 2 of your 5 a day and is a source of vitamin C and iron. 

allplants tried eight different types of breaded fillet, but Meatless Farm’s delicious and crispy ‘chicken’ schnitzel made from pea protein was like no other. 

Both companies believe that eating more plants, and less meat, can save the planet and should taste amazing at the same time.
