Is vegan spam unhealthy?
Vegan spam is the healthier replacement for spam. It is rich in protein and provides lots of calcium, potassium and dietary fibre while containing 0 mg cholesterol. It also has fewer calories, less fat and lower sodium levels when compared to traditional spam meat. (It has 49 per cent less fat and 62 per cent less sodium.) It contains NO added hormones, NO antibiotics and NO carcinogenic nitrates as the preservatives.
What can I cook with vegan spam?
Vegan spam can be added to all kinds of dishes, from breakfast sandwiches to spam fried rice and spam mac and cheese. You can replace traditional spam with vegan spam and use it instead of pork in Asian dishes, dumplings, Bolognese sauce, and classic pies recipes.
