Vegan chocolate brand Mummy Megan has re-launched what it claims is the country’s first oat milk creme egg - to be enjoyed no only for Easter!
UK vegan chocolate brand Mummy Meagz has re-launched its iconic vegan creme egg just in the middle of Summer!
At the time of its launch last Spring, it was the UK's first oat milk creme egg. Now, the product is available in a revamped packaging so fans can enjoy it all year round, not only for Easter.
The brand describes its latest product as a "mind-blowingly good creamy oat milk chocolate egg, filled with a gooey fondant centre."
The eggs are gluten-free and palm oil-free and come wrapped in recyclable foil.
The product is a new version of the brand's highly popular Chuckie Egg, which was made with dark chocolate.
Chuckie Egg used to be one of the bestsellers at TVK supermarket. Following the huge demand, the brand launched a limited edition with a green filling for Halloween.
At the time of the first launch of creme eggs, founder Meagan Boyle said: "We've created the world's first true alternative to dairy milk chocolate creme eggs. This is a game changer and I can't wait for people to try it, love it and swap their choc."
She added: "We were overwhelmed by the incredible popularity of our Chuckie Egg when it launched last summer, so are delighted to be back in action and supplying more eggs for chocolate lovers than ever before!"
The new oat milk creme egg is available to buy online from The Vegan Kind, priced at £0.99. And it can be enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians and chocolate lovers all year round. How cool is that? :)
Mummy Meagz was founded by Meagan, a 74-year-old vegan activist and a cook with a passion for chocolate. She has spent decades creating amazing vegan chocolate goodies in her vegan cafe in Yorkshire. Meagan founded the brand in 2003 together with her daughter Willow and son-in-law Dean. Since then, Mummy Meagz has become one of the UK's most popular vegan chocolate brands.
